On Friday, 19th September 2025, the John Haynes Foundation hosted an unforgettable Spectacular Fundraising Lunch & Celebration in Liverpool, an afternoon filled with glamour, inspiration, and community spirit, honouring the incredible legacy of John Haynes.
From the moment guests arrived at the Baby Clubhouse, the atmosphere was electric. Glamorous showgirls, welcome fizz, and live music set the tone for an afternoon of celebration and impact. Guests were treated to a dazzling 3-course lunch, complete with live Rat Pack-style performances and saxophone sets that had everyone captivated.
The heart of the event was, of course, the recognition of outstanding young people. The Young Eagle Awards highlighted the dedication, resilience, and ambition of our nominees. And this year, the Eagle of the Year Award was presented to Gill Banks, Principal at WMC, celebrating her exceptional leadership and dedication to empowering students and the wider community. It was an emotional and inspiring moment for everyone present.
Adding to the excitement, attendees enjoyed a lively auction and raffle, supporting the Foundation’s mission to empower and develop individuals across the Liverpool City Region. And for those ready to keep the energy going, the afternoon culminated in a full-throttle afterparty at Dicey Reilly’s.
